FM MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY SRL (FMMC) implements the project titled “Increasing the quality of services provided to customers through FMMC development”, acronym SERVMOD. The project started on 15 June 2009 and has duration of 12 months. SERVMOD is co-financed by the Ministry of Regional Development and Housing through Regio – Regional Operational Program 2007 – 2013, priority axis “Supporting the development of local and regional business environment”, major area of intervention 4.3 “ Supporting the development of micro enterprises”.

The management of public R&D organizations in Romania

FM MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY SRL (FMMC) is the representative of the “Local Operational Team” of the “Management of public R&D organizations in Romania”, project which will:

• assess the capacity of the National agency for scientific research (NASR) to monitor different sectors and allocate public financing;
• assist the NASR to set up efficient monitoring and evaluation tools, with a view to disposing of objective and continuous assessment of the stakeholders;
• identify the main public or private R&D institutions in the nine thematic sectors (Energy, Environment, Health, Agriculture, Food, Security and safety, Advanced materials, products and processes) of the RDI Strategy, and assess their capacity to apply for ERDF or the 7th Framework programme funding and implement accordingly successful projects.

As a result of the consultancy services offered by FMMC for 3 research organisations, the all 3 FMMC contracts have been declared eligible, getting scores above the minimum limit solicited by the Financer, and 2 of these contracts have been retained for financing. The Projects have been handed in for Sectoral Operational Programme “Increase of Economic Competitiveness” – axis 2 - O.2.2.1 Operation and they are at the moment in the negotiation/contracting stage, being followed, after the two parties have signed the contract, by the request of the necessary advances for starting the activities.
