Increasing the quality of customer services through FMMC modernization

Project financed by European Union and Romanian Government through Regional Operational Program 2007-2013

Project objectives


The general objective of SERVMOD is the infrastructure modernization of FM MANAGEMENT CONSULTACY SRL (FMMC) in order to develop the business (provision of consultancy services to its clients in order to attract sources of funding, grants or refundable).


The specific objectives of SERVMOD are:

  1. Increasing the quality of customer services;
  2. Creating new jobs (due to the modernization of existing space and endowment with the equipment necessary for rendering consulting services);
  3. Increasing the number of clients whom the firm follows to provide consultancy services in order to attract funds to finance their business development;
  4. Promoting the project and the new created center to attract new clients;

Project activities

The activities proposed through SERVMOD are specific to the modernization of an existing space and purchase equipment necessary for rendering services as follows:

  1. Modernization of an existing space necessary for consultancy services performing
  2. Acquisition of new and modern equipments for consultancy services performing
  3. Acquisition of new IT systems (hardware and software) for consultancy services performing
  4. Communication and publicity
  5. 5. Management

SERVMOD’ beneficiaries:

Following the execution of project activities, FMMC will be able to address to a larger number of customers in order to attract funds to finance them and to develop their business. Financial funds attraction necessary for customers businesses will be made by new projects proposals application on the active financial schemes.

The direct beneficiary of SERVMOD results is FMMC, as a result of its own infrastructure modernization and acquisition of equipments needed for rendering consulting services.

FMMC company clients: research – development institutes, universities, small and medium enterprises, local and central authorities, etc.

Bucharest-Ilfov Development Region citizens: by increasing the number of projects and achieving the targets.

SERVMOD results

Output indicators:


- modernization of the existing location (3 work desks, 100 square meters, archiving space)

- equipments acquisition

- promotion leaflets (200)

- promotion brochure (100)

- web page of the project (1)

- panel advertising (1)

- promotion labels

- press releases (2)


Results indicators:


- existent consultancy center modernization

- maintaining the existent jobs (5) and work conditions improvement

- new jobs created (3)

- increase the number of clients (with 30%)

- increase the number of proposal submitted to obtain grant funding (3-5 new contracts)

- beneficiary business development (business turnover increase with about 25-30%) for the next 2 years

- non-reimbursable funds attraction by FMMC clients (funds attraction coefficient increase)

- Structural Funds and Regional Operational Program vision increase

Project duration: 12 months (16.06.2009 – 15.06.2010)
